The purpose
Back in 2009 Jerry and Thom got to talking about how it would be nice to have a real honest to goodness thrift store that people who have low incomes could afford. Jerry had the domain name Amplegreen.org. A website was established and so began the building of Amplegreen Foundation.
In 2010 the United States Internal Revenue Service granted us non profit status on the basis that we keep giving to those around us. What they don’t actually steal we have been tricked into paying them to steal from us. It is hard to trust anyone living in the trenches of society.
In the early part of 2011 the server where we had all our domains hosted came under serious attack and was destroyed. All is not lost though for Jerry and Thom rally together and put a new site up Amplegreen Foundation.
Our Goals
To establish a self earning Thrift Store
To train others how to be green through recycling techniques
To provide :
- videos
- PDF eBooks
- audio files and links to accomplish this task
To offer a service to the community by helping
- To pay help utility bills when funds are available.
- Establish a local food pantry
Hold contests and other events to provide funding for the projects being supported by Amplegreen Foundation
